Aussie Leisure Group - About Us

Company Profile

Aussie Leisure Group currently owns nine hotel freeholds, all leased to substantial tenants (majority being publicly listed), with a further freehold currently under contract.  All hotels are leased for terms extending to approximately 40 years.

The long term objective is to grow the portfolio via the purchase of going concerns and selling of the leaseholds to high quality tenants with a proven record in the hospitality industry.

Business Objectives

Aussie Leisure Group has been created to participate in the hospitality and gaming industries by way of property holdings with a medium to long term investment view.  The overall objective of the group is to acquire a portfolio of well located hospitality and gaming venues within the Eastern Seaboard of Australia.

This objective is to be achieved through continued sourcing of hotel going concerns with an established history of strong operational performance with either maximum gaming entitlements or an existing gaming business with an opportunity to obtain further gaming entitlements.  It is a preference, although not a necessity, that the freeholds should provide future mixed use redevelopment opportunities.  Once the going concern has been purchased the sale of the leasehold business to a proven hotel operator with strong backing is sought through our existing industry network.

Aussie Leisure Group will invest in freehold properties and does not have an optimum number or mix, rather the composition of hospitality and gaming venues will be determined by individual assessment and acquisition opportunity.  The focus will be to seek well located properties with good physical appearance, structural integrity and ability to increase return on equity.
